旧金山大学（university of san francisco，简称usf）成立于1855年，地处旧金山市，学校的商学院被《华尔街日报》评为全球最好的100家商学院之一，其中的企业家管理（entrepreneurship）专业超越斯坦福大学、加州大学洛杉矶分校等顶尖名校排名加州第一。旧金山大学是美国第一所开办金融分析硕士的大学，教学研究水平在加州仅排在berkley之后。美国的金融类硕士分为三种、金融工程 (financial engineering), 金融(finance), 和金融分析(financial analyst)。金融工程强调数学和计算机背景，申请较为困难，而且就业方向主要为期货、股指相关高薪但就业机会不多的行业。已经毕业的中国校友包括新浪董事陈立武、华润置地董事长王印，对外经贸大学前管理学院院长马春光。
