Q: What are characteristics of a successfull portoflio manager?

A: I think a successful portfolio manager need to be proactive, communicative and organized. Financial market is a compact, especially in today's COVID-19 climate. Being proactive can make a protfolio manager think thoroughly and take actions under various turbulent conditions. Secondly, clients are always important. Having good communications skills will make the protfolio manager understand clients better and make more appropriate decisions. Last, there are so much different information from various sources. A good protfolio manager should be organized and take care of complicated data or information.
