what is pre-sessional english?

什么是语言课？

pre-sessional english is a short but intensive english language course designed specifically for international students who have met the academic entry requirements to study at queen’s but are below their level of english required to study their degree programme.  

语言课是专门为国际学生开设的短期英语课程，如果你达到了女王大学学位课程的学术入学要求，但语言成绩还未达要求，那么你可以报名参加这个短期语言强化课程。

4, 6 or 10 weeks depending on the level of english required.

直录入学要求雅思总分6.5（各单项不低于5.5）的学位课程：

4 weeks: ielts 6.5 ﹙with a minimum of 5.5 in any subskill﹚ or equivalent 

4周课程报名要求：雅思总分6.5（各单项不低于5.5）或同等水平

6 weeks: ielts 6.0 ﹙with a minimum of 5.5 in three subskills and 5.0 in one subskill﹚ or equivalent 

6周课程报名要求：雅思总分6.0（其中三项不低于5.5，另一项不低于5.0）或同等水平

10 weeks: ielts 5.5 ﹙with a minimum of 5.0 in any subskill﹚ or equivalent
