澳洲本科如何申请美国研究生？

在咨询过程中，遇到不少澳洲本科在读或已毕业，想申请美国硕士的同学。澳洲是英语系国家，大部分美国大学都会对持有英语系国家本科学位的同学能提供语言豁免。但是在具体申请过程中，澳洲本科的年制问题却要复杂的多，不提前做好功课，可能会导致申请失败。下面，我就给大家详细地介绍下澳洲本科在申请美国研究生时，需要注意的几个问题。

澳洲本科学制介绍

澳洲的本科学士学位课程按照专业的不同，有三年和四年的区别。一般工科类、医学、建筑、教育是四年制课程，文科、商科的学制一般为三年 。

澳洲教育体系在学士学位之上，硕士学位之下，还设置有荣誉学士学位。荣誉学士学位课程是一年制的，可供那些希望进一步深造的优秀本科毕业生学习，为的是给今后的研究性深造提供过渡。

美国大学是否承认澳洲三年制本科？

澳洲的三年制学士学位课程是受到全世界广泛认可的，包括得到我们国家教育部的承认。

一般情况下，美国大学是直接认可澳洲的三年学士学位，但部分美国大学在招生要求里明确写明只接受四年制的本科学历。对于这种情况，学生需要在澳洲获得荣誉学士学位才可以申请。

因此建议希望以澳洲为跳板，将来希望去美国或者加拿大读研究生的同学， 在澳洲更要努力学习，读完三年本科后，凭自己在本科阶段的成绩，再申请一年的荣誉学士学位课程，获得荣誉学士学位后，申请美国任何一所大学，都是可以被认可的。并且，在以往的申请中，澳洲本科学生基本都不需要再提供托福或雅思成绩。

申请时有特殊要求的美国大学（非完全）

芝加哥大学： 可考虑三年制本科申请者，但需要根据申请者学术背景进行确认沟通。澳洲学位可豁免语言。

Applicants from a three-year bachelor’s program will be given due consideration. The English language requirement may be waived if the applicant is a United States native or studied in full-time status for at least one academic year within the last five years in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia.

加州大学洛杉矶分校： 只接受四年制本科学位，所以三年制本科的学生如果没有特别想去这所学校，可以在选校时避开。 UCLA 是你的梦中院校，那你需要在大一大二期间就准备荣誉学士学位。

International students who hold three-year ordinary pass degrees, or who hold professional diplomas in accounting, business, librarianship, social work, physical education, health education and so on, or four-year degrees, diplomas or higher certificates from technical, vocational or postsecondary specialized schools are not eligible for graduate admission.

南加州大学： 申请时由学院重新评估本科 GPA 与学位。此外，对其他国家的要求是毕业要有 equivalent 学位才能申请，对澳大利亚这个国家要求我看到如下：是需要四年的本科的 。

佩珀代因大学： 需要 WES 成绩单认证，部分学院除了英国与美国大学的学生，国际生都需要提供语言成绩。

这所学校比较特殊的要求是 Graziadio School of Business and Management 这个学院 Official TOEFL, IELTS or PTE score (waived if you graduated from a U.S. or U.K. university) ， Seaver School 也要求

All students whose native language is not English must submit scores on the TOEFL 所以申请前还需要和学校确认一下是否豁免语言成绩。

约翰霍普金斯大学： 所有非英语母语的学生必须要提供语言成绩，没有指出本科在英语国家上学这种特例，所以还是应该和学校沟通一下问是否可以免除。除此之外，此学校需要进行成绩单认证。

华盛顿大学： 研究生院会自行根据申请者国家的教育体系，所受教育机构水平和研究完成情况评估是否接受非美国本科的国际申请者。

· The characteristics of a national system of education in the home country 

· The type of institution attended 

· The field of study and level of studies completed

德州大学奥斯汀分校： 与华大一样由学校自行评估是否具有录取资格。

A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or a comparable degree from a foreign academic institution. The Graduate and International Admissions Center (GIAC) will determine eligibility for admission in consultation with prospective graduate programs.

威斯康辛麦迪逊分校： 针对澳洲申请者， 需要四年制的学位或者荣誉学位。

Country: Australia 

Academic Requirements: 4 year bachelor or honours degree. 

Academic Documents Required: Official transcript and official certification of degree and date awarded. Documents must be issued by the school with the official stamp and signature. 

English Proficiency Requirements: English proficiency test not required.

马里兰大学帕克分校： 官网说接受澳洲本科，并可豁免语言。但是部分学生申请后被专业学院发了拒信，比如金融专业，理由是不接受三年制本科。所以此所三年制本科申请风险很高，不建议申请。

Students who will be awarded a degree from the U.S., United Kingdom, Anglophone Africa, Anglophone Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Commonwealth Caribbean prior to enrolling in the University of Maryland are not required to submit TOEFL or IELTS.

1 在澳大利亚三年制的本科，只要把所学专业修完获得本国正规大学学士学位就都是可以申请美国的硕士的。少数学校要求四年制本科，所以定校前需要确认好学校要求。如果确认去美国留学，建议再学一年的 Honours bachelor degree 对申请更有利。所以留美申请一定要提前至少一年做规划。

2 成绩单有些学校需要认证，申请的时候看好要求， 按照学校申请要求达到 3.0/4.0 即可申请，当然 GPA 高会是优势。

3 问是否申请时候对于学分有要求，只要是正规的三年大学毕业应该都会达到。学分问题不用担心。

4 对于 GRE/GMAT ，美国本土学生也是需要提供的，但是此项也不排除个别专业个别学校可免，比如 TESOL 专业，水牛城， MSU 和旧金山大学就不需要提供 GRE 。
